I AM

I am the little princess in your heart

I wonder why do people I care about always have to die?

I hear your voice calling my name every night saying how much you love me and miss me just like I do.

I see you smile knowing that I still care

I want to know if you still think of me

I am the little princess in your heart

I pretend you are still with me, but then I fully realize that this could never be

I feel your affectionate hug that always made me feel safe

I touch your hand and gave it a hard squeeze, you said when tomorrow starts with out me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, im right here in your heart

I worry there’s no way it can get better that life is just so hard without you making me feel better.

I cry myself to sleep every night because it seemed almost impossible that you had to leave me, you had so much to live for and so much yet to do.

I am the little princes in your heart

I understand how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time I think of you I know you miss me too.

I say my last good-bye and kiss you grandpa for the last time.

I dream of all the yesterdays the good ones and the bad, I dream of all the love we shared and all the fun we had.

I am your little princes

Hello, my name Is Juliana Astorga I am a sophomore at Farragut Career Academy
To receive the Medal of Honor is an honor because you get considered or remembered as a true hero even thought solders don’t considers themselves as true heroes they are because they risk their life to save others not for receiving the medal of Honor but because you cared.

The Medal of Honor can mean different thing to many different people, like sacrifice bravery and being courageous. For me The Medal of Honor means been a human be being because to put someone before you no matter if you life is in danger or to save their life is what humans do.

Being rewarded The Medal of Honor is a decoration that the government gives to those solders that perform an individual act of bravery like saving the life of a person or even more than one person risking there own life or doing an extremely courageous act that stands out.

Many soldiers appreciate receiving the Medal of Honor but for some of them its not easy to wear it because they think they don’t deserve or that there are other solders that do deserve reserving it more than them like this statement was said "Sometimes I think it was easier winning the Congressional Medal of Honor than it is to wear it". Another reason why I think they say its easier to win it than to wear Is because some solders lost their life while doing whatever act earn them the Medal of Honor.

You are a truly inspiration to me not because of what you did but for your courageous acts all I have to tell you is thank you for all you did

We will always respect you and honor you as a true hero because even though you might not see yourself as a hero the rest of the world do see you as a hero and a person to look up to, thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

A True Hero

The President of the United States
in the name of The Congress
takes pleasure in presenting the
Medal of Honor

to

KINSMAN, THOMAS JAMES

Rank and organization: Specialist Fourth Class, U.S. Army, Company B, 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division .Place and date: Near Vinh Long, Republic of Vietnam, 6 February 1968 .Entered service at: Seattle, Washington Born: 4 March 1945, Renton, Washington

Citation:

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty Sp4c. Kinsman (then Pfc.) distinguished himself in action in the afternoon while serving as a rifleman with Company B, On a reconnaissance-in-force mission. As his company was proceeding up a narrow canal in armored troops carriers, it came under sudden and intense rocket, automatic weapons and small-arms fire from a well entrenched Viet Cong force. The company immediately beached and began assaulting the enemy bunker complex. Hampered by exceedingly dense undergrowth which limited visibility to 10 meters, a group of 8 men became cut off from the main body of the company. As they were moving through heavy enemy fire to effect a link-up, an enemy soldier in a concealed position hurled a grenade into their midst. Sp4c. Kinsman immediately alerted his comrades of the danger, then unhesitatingly threw himself on the grenade and blocked the explosion with his body. As a result of his courageous action, he received severe head and chest wounds. Through his indomitable courage, complete disregard for his personal safety and profound concern for his fellow soldiers, Sp4c. Kinsman averted loss of life and injury to the other 7 men of his element. Sp4c. Kinsman's extraordinary heroism at the risk of his life, above and beyond the call of duty, are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the U.S. Army.

‘’My parents American dreams’’

My parents American dream are some what different from those to the average American people, my fathers American dream was to bring his family to the United States. When he finally accomplish his dream of bringing us to the United States his dreams started to change quite a bit now he wanted a house of his own, a stable job, and some money put on the side.

My mothers American dream where quite similar to my fathers she also wanted a house for her growing family and some money put on the side. But on top of that she wanted to accomplish a dream the meant a lot to her, she wanted to become an American citizen and after five years of living in the United States as a resident she finally became an American citizen, this are my parents American dreams and to this day they have accomplish all of them.

Yes undocumented immigrants should be allowed to stay in the united states because we cannot deny that we need immigrants in this country, so they could take the jobs that no one wants to do ,and we need work visas for that to happen, it is true that they take the jobs that no one else wants, we need to make it easier for them to come into the country so they could work, not die trying to make a decent living of themselves, they are just looking for the Americans dream that this country was found on.

People complain that the immigrants are taking their jobs but what they don’t realize is that they take the jobs that they don’t want, and if we need workers to take these low paying jobs, then we need immigrants to work them.

I am a humanist and I hate to see people dying trying to get over into the United States just so they could feed their families that is why they should let them stay because they are just looking for a better life not only for them but for their children as well.
